Hello Park Church,
We’re happy to announce our fall season of Community Groups is starting back up on the week of the 18th!
What are Community Groups?
Community Groups are smaller groups of people, mostly localized, who meet together during the week to dive deeper into scripture, discuss the sermon, talk about what’s going on in each other’s lives, and, overall, a place where you and others can live life together. As we seek to follow Jesus in the busyness of life, it can be hard and isolating, and confusing. In Community Groups, you can be open about where you are in your journey and have people who come alongside you.
There are various groups that meet throughout Monmouth County. Currently, they all either meet on Tuesday or Thursday evenings. This season, we’ve also introduced our first fully virtual group.
Why Community Groups?
We are wired for community. It is built into our nature. And in this time and place we find ourselves, building actual relationships with other people is hard. More than that, though, following Jesus isn’t a solo adventure – we are meant to follow Him together. We are meant to live life together, to be known by and to know others.
At Park, our mission and vision is to Follow Jesus together for the renewal of all things. The binding word there is “together.” We follow Jesus together and together we participate in God’s work for the renewal of all things. One of the ways at Park where the “together” happens is in Community Groups.
What’s Next?
This Sunday immediately following the service, we will have an info session for anyone interested in learning more. If you’re ready to join – AWESOME. Email groups@parkchurchnj.com and we will get you connected to a group.
We are so excited for this fall season and for the work that God will do in and through our groups.
And we look forward to seeing you there!
