As many of you know, Associate Pastor Matt Agresti’s transition to Central Baptist has left a significant hole in the day-to-day operations of Park. For example, who will take on the important communication responsibilities that Matt so faithfully stewarded?
This is a good question, which is why I’m excited to announce that Nick Bowden has recently joined Park’s team as the Interim Communications Director. The scope of this role includes management of general communication, graphic design, and online engagement. As a committed Jesus-follower, Nick grew up in and has been involved in various ministries in Monmouth County. He has assisted his parents with their church plant in Keyport, started a young adult ministry called LIFT, and until recently, served in a similar communications role for A.LIFE – a dynamic college ministry helping students experience the love of God.
If you haven’t had a chance to meet Nick yet, you should. As a full-time elementary school art teacher in Neptune, he and his wife, Emily, connected to Park early in COVID. Since then, they (and their adorable daughter, Mya) have been delighted to call Park “home” and are excited about the future.
Having Nick serve in this role is evidence of God’s provision during a season of transition within Park. Quite simply, I’m thrilled to have him join the team. If you have questions about communications at Park, feel free to email me (michael@parkchurchnj.com) or Nick (nick.bowden@parkchurchnj.com) directly. Oh, and if you see him on a Sunday morning, introduce yourself!
