What Should We Do?

What Should We Do?

Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ so that your sins may be forgiven; and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Acts 2

Hearing, receiving, and believing the good news of Jesus calls forth response!  Baptism might be that response, and it might be your time to be baptized!  On Sunday April 8 (the week after Easter!), we’ll be doing baptisms as part of an amazingly special Sunday morning.  If you’re feeling called to it – let us know and we’ll follow up with you to prepare you. For those of you going experiencing Rooted in Groups, we hope and expect this could be your moment!  Contact Matt Agresti if you have any questions.

At Park Church, we believe baptism is a public celebration and declaration of faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, which means it also celebrates the joining of the baptized into the mission of Jesus Christ in the world. If you can confess faith in Christ and join in his mission, then you can be baptized at Park Church! If you’ve never been baptized before, then jump in – the water is refreshing!  If you’ve been baptized as a baby but feel that being baptized as an adult would be important for your faith, then we’d love to baptize you.

If you are interested, click the button below to begin the process. The process involves 1) attending a brief meeting/class about baptism, 2) meeting with a pastor to help shepherd the process, 3) writing and recording a video testimony to be played on baptism Sunday and on the web, and 4) being baptized!
