Originally from the Seattle area, Michael is a graduate of Fuller Theological Seminary. After serving as an area director for the ministry Apartment Life, he served as pastor of Chrio Communities Church in Mesa, Arizona. Michael is passionate about the local church and its potential to reach a broken world with the good news of Jesus. Michael, Signe, and their two children are excited to be here at Park Church, and are looking forward to seeing the mission of God furthered in Monmouth County!

Serving God, Serving You
Born and raised in Monmouth County, Matt happily lives in Shrewsbury with his family. He and his wife Amanda have three little boys (Zeke, Eli, and Jonah). Before earning his mDiv from Princeton Theological Seminary, Matt was an electrical engineer. While he enjoyed being an engineer, his heart lies with helping people hear the good news of Jesus Christ. He's an avid reader of theology, listens to punk rock, lives and dies during every Giants game, and is fairly addicted to Pep-O-Mint Life Savers.
Rachel, her husband Drew, and their three children call Shrewsbury their home. She is a long time resident of Monmouth County - living in Rumson, Long Branch, and now Shrewsbury, with a handful of stops (Indiana, Chicago) in between. Rachel was a public school teacher for years in Chicago, and now runs a play-care out of her home. While in Chicago, she served as children's ministry coordinator for her church at the time. Before stepping into this role, Rachel served as a Community Group leader, as well as a Park Kids teacher and coordinator for years. Rachel is all about compassion, service, and connection. If you've ever received a hand-written note, a surprise coffee delivery, or a thoughtful text from her, then you already know this. Rachel is helping coordinate Park Kids in this interim period, until we are able to bring a full time Family Pastor on staff.
Amanda, her husband Matt (you might recognize him!), and their 3 boys live in Shrewsbury, and they've called Monmouth County their home for their entire lives. She's a 5th grade English & Language Arts teacher in Middletown, and is known for making a difference in kids' lives. Before serving in this role, she's been a Park Kids teacher for years, a High School Group leader, among many other things. She's got the biggest heart, she is a do-er like you wouldn't believe, and is tenacious at having you join in the fun. And the kids love her. Amanda is helping coordinate Park Kids in this interim period, until we are able to bring a full time Family Pastor on staff.
Originally from Virginia, Rebecca happily lives in Little Silver with her husband (Scott) and her twin girls (Blake and Leila). The Fitzgeralds have been part of Park Church for a few years now, and you might have seen her already coordinating our events, leading the Little Silver Community Group, and helping out with Park Kids. She's a graduate of Virginia Tech, majoring and working in the field of hospitality. She's got a heart for organization and for making things work better. She loves Jesus' church and knows the value of one that is working well for his mission on earth. That's why she's excited to be here!
Raised in Monmouth County, Brian currently resides in Asbury Park. For 5 years he served in campus ministry at Rutgers University and then received his mDiv from Princeton Theological Seminary. Brian has served as pastor of 4 Presbyterian churches in NJ, and then pursued another passion of his, counseling. He recently graduated from Cairn University with a M.S. in counseling. Brian's pride and joy are his 3 children, Justin, Christina and Dylan. Brian is a long time Kansas City Chiefs fan, and can now check a decibel piercing visit to Arrowhead Stadium off of his bucket list (he went to a Chiefs game there in December 2018!) - as well as a recent Super Bowl trophy!
Jenny grew up in Middletown and went to Middletown North (Go Lions!). She graduated from Stockton University with a degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology, and is hoping to get a Masters in Speech Pathology in the near future. She currently works at Academy Learning Center as an Instructional Aide. She is a twin, and spends most of her free time with her twin (Danielle) playing Mario Party, board games, and doing puzzles. She loves karaoke but can't sing at all. She feels bad for the people who sit next to her at service because of it. Taylor Swift is her favorite singer, because she kind of looks like her. Her favorite thing about living in NJ is the beach, she can’t understand people who choose not to live next to the beach.
Anthony has been apart of Park Church for about nine years. He's originally from Brooklyn, and moved to NJ in 2003. He works at a retirement community as a dietary supervisor in Red Bank. Anthony started my journey here at Park Church as a teenager, attending the High School Group. Through this ministry, his faith blossomed as the leaders showed him the love of Christ through their actions. Wanting to do that for others, he started helping out in the Middle School Group in 2010. In this ministry, he learned much from the senior leaders and the students. As he saw a need in the High School Group for help, he transitioned over. After a year, he was asked to run the ministry and jumped at the opportunity to share the love of Christ with high school students - where it all started for him!
